The preparation of chicken tikka masala is very easy e and simple and you can make it with minimal ingredients.

This dish contains pieces of fried boneless chicken along with an aromatic orange gravy, the colour of the gravy comes from the tomatoes and the creaminess comes from the fresh cream used in it. The colour of the gravy gives a delicious look, and the creamy finger-licking gravy chicken can be served as a main course dish.

For Marination:-

1. Boneless Chicken 500 g
2. Beaten curd ½ cup
3. Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
4. Turmeric powder 1 tsp
5. Red chili powder 1 tsp
6. Garam masala powder 1 tsp
7. Cumin powder 1 tsp
8. Salt 1 tsp

For Gravy:-

1. Oil 4 tsp
2. Butter 2 tsp
3. Chopped onion 1 cup
4. Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
5. Turmeric powder 1 tsp
6. Cumin seeds 1 tsp
7. Red chili powder 1 tsp
8. Garam masala powder ½ tsp
9. Coriander powder 1 tsp
10. Tomato puree 1 cup
11. Suger 1 tsp
12. Salt 2 tsp
13. Fresh cream ½ cup
14. Chopped coriander leaves



• Add boneless chicken pieces in a bowl then add the half cup of beaten curd, 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste, 1 tsp Turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chili powder,1 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp of garam masala powder, 2 tsp salt. Mix it well and leave for 30 minutes to marinate.

Preparation of the gravy:-

• Take a pan and add some oil in it, once the oil heats up add marinated chicken pieces separately, and fry both sides of the pieces well for 10 minutes. When the chicken is nice and brown remove it from the pan and leave it in a bowl.

• then add some butter in the remaining oil on the pan, after the butter is melted add 1 cup of chopped onion,2 tsp of ginger garlic paste, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp cumin seeds powder, half tsp garam masala powder, 1 tsp Coriander powder, Mix it well then add 1 cup of tomato puree, 2 tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes and make a thick gravy.

• Then add half a cup of fresh cream and 1 tsp of sugar and cook for 1 minute, when the gravy is nice and thick add the fried chicken pieces in it and gently mix with the gravy. Cover it for 10 minutes, until the chicken pieces are nicely cooked then add chopped coriander leaves on it and your chicken tikka masala is absolutely ready. Serve it with a nun or steamed rice it will be delicious.
